When God said in Genesis 1:26 that He’d “make man in Our image,” what was He referring to?

The greatest thing that separates us from the rest of the animal kingdom and allows us to be image-bearers of Him is the capacity to THINK! We have the ability to choose and decide the type of life we want to live. Every single result we have in our life is a by-product of an action. Every action is a by-product of a thought.

In order to achieve a miraculous breakthrough, we need to “renew our minds,” as Paul states in the passage.

The problem is that many of us are being “conformed to this world” by filling our minds with the worries, matters, and issues of world culture. We are slammed by the agendas of news platforms and social media, advertisements, and our fleshly desires. We distract ourselves with endless entertainment options.

Today, the challenge is to be intentional with what we renew our minds with. Meditate on His Word. Pray to Him with thanksgiving and praise. “Prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect” through our mindsets, actions, and results.

As we focus on HIM, watch as God shows up in the only way He can - MIRACULOUSLY!
