One Way My mission is to bring a message of hope to the world. Through the gifts God has given me, I desire to lead people to Christ. The goal of “One Way” is simple: I want people to know that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. I want to show someone the way to faith, joy, and a future in Him. I not only want others to be introduced to my God, but I want God to be pleased with my life. I know it may sound old-fashioned to some, but my prayer has always been the same: Lord, use my voice, and use my song, to inspire someone to ask, “What must I do to be saved?” I’ll never forget an experience I had in Jamaica with Dr. Matthew Dunaway. The event was called “Cruise with a Cause” and the vision was to bring all walks of life together for the glory of God. After witnessing over 50,000+ people worshiping God in the streets, and thousands of souls saved, I was inspired once again to continue spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. No matter your economic status or political privilege, I want you to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior; because in the end, whether or not you are a millionaire won’t matter. Whether or not you know the President of your country won’t matter. What will matter in the end is if you know Jesus. That is the heart behind this song. There is truly only one way to peace, love, joy, and hope—and that way is through Jesus Christ. My prayer is that, as you hear the words to this song, you will be inspired to use your gifts the same way. All of us have oil in our lamps to give. Don’t die with your work undone. Don’t let a day go by without testifying to the goodness of your God. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. When you encounter Jesus, you will never be the same!
