### Day Six - The Birth of Jesus The greatest gift God has given humanity, besides salvation, is His only son! Welcome to our Christmas devotional. As you journey together through the wonder of God’s amazing plan and provision, we pray that you have fun, while discovering more about God’s heart for everyone. We pray that every truth you learn through this plan will be remembered and carried with you through life as you journey with and always follow Jesus. READ: ‘ Shepherds Visit’ in the Beginners Bible (pages 277-281) or in Luke 2:8-20 When the shepherds got to the stable, they told Mary and Joseph about the message from the angels. Sometimes God speaks to us through other people, and sometimes He speaks to other people through us! ASK: Today, pray for a friend and ask God to give you an encouragement for them. REMEMBER: But the angel reassured them, saying, “Don’t be afraid. For I have come to bring you good news, the most joyous news the world has ever heard! And it is for everyone everywhere! (Luke 2:10) SAY: Thank you, God that you sent your Son. Help us to remember while we have fun. Give us the courage to share the greatest news, With everyone, everywhere, that all may hear, As we shout it from the rooftops, loud and clear! Amen!
