Entanglement Is A Choice. “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” Galatians 5:1 KJV Entanglement is a choice. When you choose to turn from a life of sin and surrender your life to Christ, the power of sin and its entanglement, no longer has dominion over you. When you are in Christ, the power of sin no longer lords over you and its stronghold no longer has authority or rulership over your life. When you repent, and turn to Christ, your sins are forgiven and your past is completely wiped away. Through Christ, you have a clean slate. The old passes away and now the new comes forth and Christ becomes your Lord. When you receive Christ, the stain of the past no longer has a grip on your future, and through Christ you have a fresh start and a new identity. There is a better Way — His Way. At this very moment, you can start clean and begin again. Every entanglement, struggle, bondage, and stronghold that has previously held you captive, no longer has access to your heart — in fact, your life and your story now belongs to Jesus Christ. When you surrender your life to Christ, your sins are forgiven, your life is transformed, and the Blood of Jesus Christ removes the stain of your past completely. Christ is your Deliverer and He will set you free. He will release you from the imprisonment of your past and lift every burden, shame, and struggle. Through Christ you are made new. (Psalms 103:12 KJV). When you surrender your life to Christ, you don’t have to return to the bondage of the past. It‘s your choice. You can either receive the finished work of Christ and walk in freedom or you can choose to return to the bondage of your old ways. When you receive Christ, your Bloodline shifts and the propensity of sin no longer has the power to cling to you. When you are in Christ, your former lust, sin and iniquity no longer have the power or the authority to torment or to rule over you. When Christ becomes your Lord, the bondage of your past no longer can claim dominion over your heart and every former lust, negative thought, bondage, bitterness, rejection, and struggle is now trespassing. The ground of your heart belongs to Him. You belong to Christ. It is through Christ that you are swept clean, set free, and born again. In Him, you have a brand new start. Choose Christ and surrender to Him. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, simply turn to Him, repent and give Him your heart. Even if you’ve given your life over to Him in the past and now you’ve found yourself strayed away from Him — it’s not too late, you can turn back to Him. Surrender every part of your life over to Christ today and don’t look back. Say this prayer: Father God, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sin. I believe that your Son, Jesus Christ, died and rose just for me. Father, I turn to You and repent of my sin. I choose to turn from my old ways and surrender my heart and life over to You. Lord, I surrender every dark place over to You. Every hidden place, I give over to You. Every secret, I give over to You. Lord, shine Your Light in every area of my life. Expose every hurt, heal every wounded place and comfort every abandoned area. Father, I give my life completely over to You. Lord Jesus, heal every area of my life — even the areas that I am afraid to let go of. Father, I surrender to You. You are my Lord and Savior. I surrender my life over to You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
