Have you ever had a person in your life be disloyal to you? Maybe they gossiped about you, or told on you, or shared a secret that they knew you wouldn’t want anyone to know. It’s painful when you think someone is supposed to be on your side, only to find out they’ve hurt or betrayed you. Part of becoming more like Jesus is becoming a person who is both loyal and kind. That means that even when others don’t do the same for you, you work to live out loyalty and kindness in your own life because you know it’s God’s best. What does it mean to you to be a truly loyal and kind person? Write down your ideas this week, and then take steps to follow through with just one of them each day.
