Romans 1:16

70 years ago, the nation-state of Israel declared its independence. The unlikely birth of this tiny new democracy represented a miracle of immense proportions and an extraordinary fulfillment of biblical prophecy. The Bible tells us we should be praying for the peace of Jerusalem. Here are some ways you can pray:

من هو الله؟ ما هي صفاته؟ خطته الأزليّة؟ أعماله في التاريخ؟ على  المستوى الأساسي، أُعطيت الأسفار المقدسة لنا لتعلّمنا عن الله وعمّا عمله  من أجلنا. في الواقع، إن معرفة الله هي ضرورية لنا لكي نفهم أنفسنا  وعالمنا. ولهذا ندرس ما يدعوه علماء اللاهوت بعقيدة الله، أو العقيدة عن  الله. من خلال خطة القراءات هذه نتعرّف على منهجيّة منظمة لتمييز صفات الله كما ندرس خطة الله وأعماله، وخاصة أحكامه، خليقته، وعنايته.

Considered one of the most theologically rich books of the New Testament, Romans is a treatise on the theology of salvation. Beginning with the hopelessness of our sin-filled state, Paul shows how God provides righteousness to His people through Jesus Christ. In Romans, we are reminded that justification does not come from status or moral achievement but from belief in the substitutionary death and glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ.
