Hebrews 9:27

We read in God’s Word that without the shedding of blood, there can be no forgiveness. And obedience is better than sacrifice. The manifestation of these words play out when Jesus’ obedience led to the shedding of His blood and the ultimate sacrifice is made – for us! This is Plan Five of Nine of the book of Hebrews where we see that although salvation is free for us, there was a great cost that Jesus paid. 

إنَّ الخسارةَ أمرٌ مَحتومٌ في الحياة. فلا يوجدُ شيءٌ مَنظورٌ يَدوم. وواحدةٌ مِنَ الحقائق المؤلمةِ في الحياةِ هي تلك اللَّحظةُ الَّتي نَعرِفُ فيها هذه الحقيقة. فرُبَّما نَفْقِدُ صديقًا أو نَخْسَرُ عملًا أو نَخْسَر ثَروتَنا؛ ولكنَّ الحياةَ تَستَمِرّ. في هذه السلسلة من التأمّلات، سنتمعّن في ما تُعلّمنا كلمة الله عن الخسارة والموت.

تعد الرسالة إلى العبرانيين أحد أكثر الأسفار تحدّياً في العهد الجديد. فمن الصعب فهم العديد من موضوعاتها وأفكارها الرئيسية وهي تميل إلى تناولها بشكل مختلف عما تقوم به أسفار العهد الجديد الأخرى. من المفيد أن ندرك أن القرّاء الأصليين كانوا يواجهون الاضطهاد وتجربة الارتداد عن المسيح. لهذا السبب ركّز الكاتب على الثبات القوي في الإيمان، ولذلك تعد هذه الرسالة من أكثر الأسفار ذات قيمة وتشجيعاً للمسيحيين في كل عصر.
