There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!

እግዚአብሔርን ተስፋ አድርግ።

15 ቀናት

ለብዙ ሰዎች 'ተስፋ' አዎንታዊ ነገር ግን እርግጠኛ ያልሆነ ነገር ነው። አንድን ነገር ተስፋ ብናደርግም እንደሚሆን እርግጠኞች አይደለንም። ይሁን እንጂ መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ፍጹም እርግጠኛ እና እምነት የሚጣልበት የተስፋ ምንጭ እንዳለ ያስተምረናል። በዚህ የንባብ እቅድ 'እግዚአብሔር ተስፋ ማድረግ' ከመጽሐፍ ቅዱሳዊ እይታ አንጻር እንመለከታለን።

መከራንና ሥቃይን መቋቋም የሚቻለው እንዴት ነው?

18 ቀናት

ሐዋርያው ጳውሎስ ለአንባቢዎቹ “ወደ እግዚአብሔር መንግሥት በብዙ መከራ እንገባ ዘንድ ያስፈልገናል” (የሐዋርያት ሥራ 14:22) ይላል። የሐዋርያት ሥራን ማንበብ ወይም በዓለም ዙሪያ ካሉ ክርስቲያኖችን ምስክርነት መስማት፣ የዚህን ቃል እውነት አረጋግጠዋል። አማኞች ተቃውሞ እና ስደት ይደርስባቸዋል። ምናልባት እርሶም መከራ አጋጥሞት ይሆናል። በዚህ የንባብ እቅድ ውስጥ፣ ልናበረታታዎት እና በመከራን እንዴት መቋቋም እንደሚቻል ማስተማር እንፈልጋለን።
