The world’s peace is different from God’s peace. Worldly peace is temporary and dependent upon circumstances. God’s peace offers a permanent solution, which is salvation through Jesus and His presence in our lives. Considered one of the most theologically rich books of the New Testament, Romans is a treatise on the theology of salvation. Beginning with the hopelessness of our sin-filled state, Paul shows how God provides righteousness to His people through Jesus Christ. In Romans, we are reminded that justification does not come from status or moral achievement but from belief in the substitutionary death and glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The birth of Christ, His advent, marks God's ultimate plan for our redemption. In Christ, we see the fullest picture of God's hope, peace, joy and love. God's Word is the truth by which we know and walk with Him daily.
