Gud i Himmelen viser sinne over alle mennesker som lever i ulydighet og mangel på respekt for Ham, og som hindrer andre i å se sannheten om Ham. For Gud har vist alle mennesker hvem Han er. Helt siden verden ble skapt, har alle kunnet se Guds grenseløse makt og at Han virkelig er Gud. Gjennom alt de kan se, har Han vist seg for dem, og de kan kjenne Hans evige kraft og styrke. Derfor kan ingen unnskylde seg med at de ikke kjenner til Guds eksistens.
