聖經常常提到有關成長的事，成長就是學習更多關於耶穌的事，更緊密地跟隨祂，更欣然地順服祂，以致於我們的態度與行為也越來越像耶穌。『成長：越來越酷似耶穌』這個讀經計劃，使用聖經中提到種子、樹根、植物、樹木及果實等經文，使用這些形像，來思考為耶穌而活的意義。

Or you might find that you are doing the right things for the wrong reason or in the wrong way, so they are not life-giving or fulfilling.
