Maybe it was from a friend, a bully, a boss, or a teacher, but we have all felt like we have been “under attack.” But what about the attacks you maybe don’t see? What about the enemy that you can’t actually see? Just as there is a spirit of Christ that is alive and well today working in our lives for good, there is a spirit of Satan that has one mission, pure destruction. There is a war going on currently. Between the armies of God, and the armies of Satan, the evil one. The problem is, we can’t always see it at work. The enemy likes to try and attack us in discrete ways, and he’s actually quite good at it. He may place an evil thought in your head, or try and tempt you with something that will throw you off track. But the great thing is that God has given us a tool, in fact some equipment, to fight back against the enemy. In Ephesians 6, Paul talks about putting on the full armor of God. Take a read for yourself at what he says in verses 12-17. We can too put on this armor. I challenge you every day this week before you go to school, work, or wherever you need to go, to spend some time in prayer, and put on the full armor of God before you start your day!
