Rising Above The Circumstances

There is power that comes from trusting God when life feels overwhelming. It’s not the kind of power that shouts or flexes—it’s the kind that helps you rise, even when everything around you tries to hold you down. Isaiah 40:31 says, “They will soar on wings like eagles.” It’s a picture of rising above what was meant to bury you. Of gaining perspective in the middle of pain. In nature, when strong winds blow, most birds seek shelter—but an eagle? It rises higher by leaning into the very force that could’ve forced it down. And that’s what God empowers us to do. When you wait on Him, when you trust Him in the struggle, He doesn’t just help you survive—He helps you rise. You rise above fear. Above grief. Above the heaviness of disappointment. Not because of who you are, but because of who He is. So if the pressure of life is pressing in, don’t shrink back. Don’t lose heart. Lean into the wind of God’s Spirit. Let Him lift you. He is the God who carries. The God who elevates. The God who uses what was meant to destroy you to instead develop you. And when you rise with Him, you don’t just rise—you soar.
