How did it feel to have your grade tied to your classmate’s work? The Scarlet Man put the Resistance in the hands of Alexander and Selina, and the people they gathered around them. They’re hardly perfect people - they make mistakes just like all of us! What would you have said if the Scarlet Man asked you about that decision? Something to think about while you are reading today’s passage: God becomes partner with (and ties all of His plans for humanity to) an elderly couple in a foreign land who are still learning to trust him, and not always succeeding. Who do you think has to show the most trust here? God or Abram?
