"Between a Rock & A Hard Place……Literally" After reading this passage of scripture we can conclude that David was in between a rock and a hard place, literally. Saul relentlessly pursued David in order to take his life. The Bible tells us that Saul searched for David everyday but God did not hand David over to him. When Saul received the inside scoop from the Ziphites where David was hiding, Saul and his men went to pursue David and his men. Saul and his men were on one side of the mountain while David and his men were on the other, hurrying to get away from Saul because Saul and his men were surrounding David and his men to capture them! But even in a situation where one is backed into a corner with what appears to be no options before them to escape, even when one can’t see their way out of a negative situation, remember God comes through with that Divine Interception! In the very act of Saul and his men surrounding David and his men seeking to capture them, God intercepted and a messenger came to Saul telling him to “Hurry and come, because the Philistines have attacked the land, so Saul returned from pursuing David and went to meet the Philistines.” Only God knows what to do to divert your enemy’s attention in the midst of them destructively pursuing you! This is great news! No matter what you are going through and it looks like you are out of options with no where to turn and the enemy is seeking to destroy your life, take courage right now and know without a doubt in your mind that God Comes through in Divine Interceptions! He will always intercept the plot of the enemy because he already promised you that no weapon formed against you will SUCCEED!! Perhaps you can take a moment to reflect and praise the LORD for all the times He has come through for you and your loved ones in divine interceptions. God deserves all praise & reverence for his Divine interceptive power! Hallelujah!
