Cast Your Care. “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬ God cares for you. Christ cares about every aspect of your life. He wants to be involved with every detail of your life — if you let Him. ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ puts it this way, “Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.” Give Christ your cares, worries, and concerns. Don’t allow the cares and worries of this world to entangle your heart. Don’t allow the worries of this world overtake your soul. God affectionately cares about the condition of your soul. God affectionately cares about the condition of your heart. The New International Version expounds on 1 Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭NIV in the following manner, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” ‭‭Cast all your cares over to Christ. Cast every concern that’s weighing you down over to Christ. With your whole heart surrender every weight and bondage over to Christ. Don’t allow the burdens of life to block your worship.
