Sermon Title: The Lightweight Secret of a Heavyweight
Sermon Text: Romans 16:21-27
Preparation Question: Are you trying to carry the weight of life and ministry in your own strength, or are you resting in Christ who strengthens you?

Two key components to the secret of being a faithful heavyweight:
1. Christianity is a team sport – You don’t fight alone. (v. 21-23 & 1-16)

2. Christianity is a participatory spectator sport – You don’t fight in your own strength. (v. 24-27)

Response Questions:
1. Why is "lone-ranger Christianity" dangerous, and who is in your corner holding you up right now?
2. How do you practically work hard in ministry while relying completely on God's grace?
3. How does Jesus' promise that His "burden is light" change the way you handle heavy seasons?
4. In "How Great Thou Art," the soul sings THEN—after beholding God. How does focusing on Jesus change your worship?
5. What heavy burden or isolated struggle will you share with a brother or sister in Christ this week?
