Oh, how easy it is for me to take my eyes off of God’s ways and lean on my own strength and understanding! When I trust in my own wisdom and strength, my ways are foolish, crooked and lead me astray. I must fully lean into His ways and trust in Him, not holding ANYTHING back… not just in some of my ways, but in ALL of my ways - with ALL of my heart. What area(s) of your life do you need to surrender to God and fully trust Him today? Oh God, it is so tempting for me to give You just the comfortable areas of my life, and to hold back other areas and try to manage them myself. Forgive me, Father, for thinking that I can direct my life better than You can. Starting today – this very moment - help me to fully surrender ALL of my ways to Your perfect plan. Help me to say with all of my heart, “God, lead me… I trust You.”
