Your Heavenly Home: We will live in the direct presence of God

Let me ask you something. What do you think of when you hear someone refer to being in “heaven”? Is your ultimate wish, your heavenly desire, to have a good time or to eat a scrumptiously delicious dessert?

"Heaven" is the Bible’s term to describe the ultimate--the new world and new life that God is preparing for us. The best thing about heaven is that the feeling of being separated from God will be over. In Revelation 21, St. John writes, “I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God’” (verse 3).

We will be with God! Wow!
