The Ministry of His Presence

Reading: Exodus 29 & 30

God consecrates the priests to minister before Him. In this holy encounter, He reveals that true service begins with intimacy in His presence, where every act of ministry becomes worship unto Him.

1. Begin today welcoming the Holy Spirit right where you are.

2. Pray how Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:9-13.

“Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil” (Matthew 6:9-13 ESV).

• Begin praying by declaring “Father, you are HOLY!”
• Pray for God’s perfect will to be done in your life. “God, not my will, but yours!”
• Tell God what it is that you need. He is our provider!
• Repent. Lay down your sins before God, and ask for forgiveness.
• List out by name those you need to forgive, and ask God for help!
• Grace is a gift we all have access to, open the gift and accept God’s grace to overcome sin.
• Declare “no spirit but the Holy Spirit” is welcome in your life!

3. Pray through your personal fasting prayer list.

Without prayer, fasting is just a diet. Today, partner with the Holy Spirit in intercession for the things He’s highlighting for you to contend for during this fast. If you don’t have a list yet, here’s one to help you get you started!

• Your Family
• Your Friends and any person that comes up in your spirit as you pray
• Your Job/Work
• Your City
• Your Church & Church Leaders

4. Read Exodus 29–30 today.

Pay attention to the encounter taking place between people and God as you read!

5. After the reading, give God room to speak to you.

Pray, "Speak Lord, Your servant is listening."

6. Pray the Prayer of Encounters.

This is where I tell You … I love You, I love You, I love You!
This is where I tell You … You’re holy, You’re holy, You’re holy!
This is where I tell You … Thank You, thank You, thank You!
This is where I tell You … I need You, I need You, I need You!
This is where I tell You … Speak Lord, Your servant is listening!
