The Holy Spirit dwells in us

The King of Glory when he was at earth he promised his disciples to give them or to send them ANOTHER helper, and that ANOTHER helper is the Holy Spirit who is a person distinct in existence from the person of the Son of God but has the same exact nature of him and that is exactly what the word ANOTHER in the Greek language means (ἄλλος): “another of the same kind." This is what we heard yesterday as well. The Holy Spirit is one with the Father and the Son.

And the Holy Spirit came to dwell in the first disciples at the day of Pentecost exactly as Jesus promised them, and he is living in us as a church “The Body of Christ” and he also dwells individually in each believer who is united with Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Abiding presence of the true living god is in us and with us forever through the Holy Spirit. What a marvelous truth!

We do not deserve it at all, and we did not and will not earn it by any means whatsoever. It is ONLY by the perfect life and work of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living god.

So let us praise him and exalt him for His amazing grace and for His abiding presence.

Our Holy Father, I praise and thank you for your Amazing grace, thank you for your beloved son Jesus Christ, thank you for your Holy Spirit who is in us and with us forever. Amen
