To begin this journey of 21 days of prayer and fasting, you are invited into the inner circle of God’s team of yielded servants. Romans chapters 12-16 are the practical application of all that Paul taught in the first eleven chapters. When a believer decides to ‘Live Sent,’ then they are willing to incorporate three spiritual considerations.

CONSIDERATION #1: DEDICATE YOUR BODY:

To live your life with intention and purpose, you must make a concentrated decision of your will to dedicate your body to the Lord. Paul, the author of Romans, is ‘appealing’ or making a summons. It is a direct address to each Christian to sign a personal resignation to fully devote themselves to a specific discipline in the Christian faith. Live Sent by dedicating your body to the full surrender of God’s Word.

CONSIDERATION #2: DETERMINE TO RENEW YOUR THINKING:

The next consideration is a new mindset. We become what we think. The Holy Spirit is encouraging us to place Biblical thoughts into our minds. To think Biblically is to renew your mind. Our thoughts come from what we see, hear, and do. If a change in thinking is necessary, then you may need to develop new resources to provide purer, practical, and Godly thoughts.

CONSIDERATION #3: DISCERN THE WILL OF GOD:

The final consideration to begin to ‘Live Sent’ is for the discernment for the will of God. It is a daily battle in the mind for the will of God or the will of an individual. We are selfish and sinful by our nature.

Only God can change our nature and appetites. Discerning the will of God is based on how closely you are willing to be with the Holy Spirit.
