Jesus should be Lord of our lives. Charles Spurgeon once said, “If He be God, let us serve Him with all our hearts.” Calling Jesus “Lord” means surrendering every part of life to Him. Partial obedience isn’t discipleship. Real faith shows itself in loyalty, devotion, and obedience to the One Who reigns. Like the rich young ruler, you must be willing to surrender all. You cannot hold on to the world and try and cling to Christ.
