Back to the Basics 365

DAY 308 OF 365

Does my responsibility end when someone becomes a believer in Jesus?

In Matthew 28:18-20, right before Christ leaves, He tells his disciples to teach all nations, baptize them, and then to teach them to follow His commands. Sharing the gospel doesn’t end after introducing someone to Jesus. We continue to share Christ to encourage and challenge others to grow closer to Him. Just as a baby’s diet grows and broadens as they develop, new believers need spiritual nourishment in God’s Word. They must be taught to live according to biblical truth. This ongoing process is called discipleship.

Sharing the gospel isn’t just about salvation; it’s about helping other believers walk closer with God every day. Who are you discipling?
