I've often heard it said that the Bible is like a mirror that reveals all the imperfections in our lives. I believe there is a great deal of truth in this analogy. When we read God’s Word, we draw closer to Him. The more time we spend in His presence and in His Word, the more aware we become of areas in our lives that need improvement.
Psalm 119:105 says, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." God's Word guides us, helping us stay on the right path so we don’t stumble into sin. Praise be to God!
