Fulfilling God’s Purpose for Your Life

DAY 2 OF 7

Created in His Image

When God made man, He broke a pattern. Every other creature was formed after its kind, but man was made in the likeness of God. This means your value and purpose are not drawn from earthly standards but from divine design.

In Genesis 1, the heavenly council agreed, “Let us make man in our image.” The pattern of man’s creation was divine, not natural. You were made to reflect the invisible God in a visible world.

This reflection carries responsibility, because the design determines the purpose. Being made in His image means we carry His authority to represent Him on earth. That is what dominion truly is.

However, dominion is not about control; it is the authority to represent God’s will on earth as it is in heaven. For example, the strength of a lion or the wisdom of a serpent does not define dominion. True dominion flows from identity from being made in God’s image.

Saints, you are God’s reflection, His living representation in your space. That’s why every sphere of life you find yourself in is a place to reveal Him. Through your life, the world gets to know about His order, mercy, and goodness.

Of course, when man fell, he lost that alignment, but in Christ, the image was restored. Now, through the Spirit of God in you, you are renewed daily to live again as the reflection of God’s nature.

You were made to show Him, to reveal what He is like to those around you. Your design is not random; it carries divine intention to express God’s heart wherever you go.

Prayer Focus:
Lord, thank You for creating me in Your image. Let my life reflect Your nature of love, order, and righteousness. Teach me to carry Your likeness in my thoughts, words, and actions.
