Breathing RoomНамуна

Day 2–Trusting God with the Load
Most of us live carrying more than we were ever meant to carry. We shoulder the weight of our worries, trying to control outcomes and hold everything together. But the more we try to manage it all, the more we feel crushed under the load. God’s Word offers a different way: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight” (Proverbs 3:5).
Trusting God doesn’t mean ignoring problems; it means releasing the illusion that we can handle them alone. Jesus reminds us that our Father already knows our needs before we ask. The question is not whether God is able—it’s whether we will let go and trust Him to be enough.
As you practice breathing room, ask yourself: what burdens am I still trying to carry on my own? Trust is an act of surrender. When we hand our worries to God in prayer, we make space in our hearts for His peace to move in.
Questions to Reflect On
- What burdens do you find hardest to release to God?
- How can you practice trusting Him with something specific today?
- Deeper Question: What would shift in your heart if you truly believed God is already working for your good, even in what feels unresolved?
