The Miracle in the MirrorНамуна

Recognizing The Miracle of The Light
Growing up, I was the typical kid who saw all my flaws and magnified them if no one else was already pointing them out to me...a really insecure, awkward girl from a very broken home who was looking for a way to feel wanted and welcomed in a broken world. Oh, what little I knew!
Thankfully, over time and with many lessons learned, the Lord placed specific key people into my path to help me see what He wanted in and through me, even in all the brokenness. The Master Potter took this little girl (who's last name happened to be Potter), and started forming together all the broken pieces into a different masterpiece and made it better than it was to begin with (Jer.18:4). I still feel Him sculpting and shaping me into something better with every passing day that I allow Him to take the lead of my life. (Isa. 64:8)
It can be hard to see good when everything seems to be falling apart around you. Families are under attack more than ever in these end times. Our world is crumbling at an increasingly rapid pace, as foretold in Revelation, but Jesus wants us to focus on the good (Phil. 4:8).
I used to look in the mirror and see myself as ugly. Hated. Loser. Less than. But the miracle in all of that is that Jesus wanted ALL OF IT. All of what I thought, felt, and hoped to have in life. He cares. He can remove disdain, self-loathing, bitterness, anger, and trauma. He desperately wants us to release all of it at the foot of the cross, and let HIM define who we are in Christ. Sometimes, we do not know what will fill our void because we are not asking Him to remove what's hindering and add His grace into the mix. We are too busy griping about our woes instead.
When Christ looks at His children, He sees "worth it." Worth it enough to die for it!!! (John 3:16). Jesus sees a masterpiece that needs tweaking at times, to get us just right for our arrival Home.
Surrender all the hurts, mistakes, failures, flaws, pain, and heartache to Him. He can form a NEW THING, if you will but let Him sit down to your mess, and sculpt away...removing the hardened pieces of your clay that need to be shed for a beautiful new piece (Isa. 43:19).
About this Plan

Life throws a lot of curveballs. It's easy to get so caught up in the thick of the to-do lists and the chaos surrounding us. That's when we fail to see the beauty of what God is doing in the midst of the messes. It's time to come up close and see the miracle staring back at you in the mirror of reflection...let's see just how good God really is!
