RHODA as a Guiding StarНамуна

Prayer of Repentance and Thanksgiving!
Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in humility and honesty, acknowledging that we have not always been faithful RHODA’s in our areas of engagement. We repent, Lord, for the times we have lacked reliability, when our hearts have grown weary or distracted. Forgive us for the moments we lost hope because we failed to observe Your hand at work, or served without true dedication and alertness. We confess the times we ignored the quiet whisper of Your Spirit, or when we dismissed the value of our role in Your kingdom—whether as employers, workers, caregivers, or helpers.
Lord, cleanse our hearts and renew our minds. Teach us to be trustworthy with every task, no matter how small. Help us to hold tightly to hope even when circumstances seem bleak. Open our eyes to see Your presence in the mundane, and give us the discipline to serve with joy and commitment. May we be spiritually alert and quick to respond to Your leading, just like Rhoda who ran in anticipating faith and declared what others could not yet believe.
And yet, Lord, we thank You. You are a faithful and merciful God who continues to shape us, guide us, and lift us up when we fall. Thank You for not discarding us when we fail. Thank You for placing us in positions where we can make a difference. Thank You for using even our imperfect service to accomplish Your perfect will.
We are grateful for every opportunity You have given us to serve others. We thank You for empowering us to do more, to love deeper, and to uplift those who are often overlooked. Thank You for the janitors, the drivers, the mechanics, the house helps, the gatekeepers, and every unsung hero who serves with quiet faithfulness. May we never again be blind to their value or deaf to their needs.
Lord, as we leave this study, may we be transformed—not just inspired, but truly changed. Let the spirit of Rhoda live in us: Reliable, Hopeful, Observant, Dedicated, and Alert. May we serve not for applause, but because we love You and desire to reflect Your heart to the world.
We ask this in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, amen.
