Countdown to Christmas: 12 Days to Prepare Your HeartНамуна

The Joyful News
The angel’s announcement split the night sky, not over a palace but over a pasture.
It came not to rulers or priests but to shepherds, ordinary working people, faithfully tending their flocks. Their world was simple, but their hearts were open.
Matthew 22:14 tells us that, “Many are called, but few are chosen.” The shepherds were chosen because they responded. They did not have credentials or influence, just a willingness to act on what they heard. That is what faith looks like, saying yes when you cannot yet see the outcome.
They had no proof, no sign beyond a promise, yet they believed enough to leave everything behind and go. That kind of trust opens the door to joy beyond understanding. Each step toward the manger revealed more of who Jesus truly was, the Saviour who would bring peace to the world.
God still speaks to humble hearts willing to listen. The more we follow, the clearer He becomes. Faith grows into revelation, and revelation becomes joy. The quiet decision to believe turns into a story worth telling, the story of salvation.
Reflect: Ask yourself, "Am I willing to take the next step to follow God? What is the next faith step God is asking me to be obedient in?"
Prayer: Father, keep revealing Yourself to me as I walk in faith. Let Your joy overflow as I discover the depth of Your gift.
