Day 3 — Application: Putting Faith into Action
If you taught me to bake a chocolate cake, but I never actually baked it, your training would be wasted. We all like to be motivated and equipped to share our faith story, but doing it can be quite intimidating. Faith without action is unfinished. Jesus didn't just teach love—He demonstrated it.
We can talk about sharing our faith, but eventually we must step out and do it. That's where fear usually shows up—but perfect love drives out fear. (1 John 4:18) When compassion fills your heart, fear loses its grip.
Every time we have equipped people to share their faith, we take everyone to the streets for one hour, two by two to share their One Minute Witness. As they put their faith story into action, their fears melt away. They find joy in sharing the good news of Jesus and realize people are willing to listen! The more we act on faith, the more joy we discover. God didn't ask us to change the world alone; He invited us to join Him in what He's already doing.
Today, start small. Ask someone how you can pray for them. Tell a friend what God's been teaching you. Let your story be the bridge between their questions and God's truth. Watch as people come to Jesus, get encouraged, and you find joy!
