Giving Birth to Your Promise

DAY 2 OF 10

Day 2 – Holy Frustration

There’s a kind of frustration that doesn’t come from anger, but from a divine restlessness deep inside. That’s what Hannah experienced. Year after year, she went to Shiloh. Year after year, her womb remained empty. Her rival mocked her. Her heart broke. But one day, something shifted. She said, Enough is enough.

She wasn’t just tired of waiting — she was pregnant with something she couldn’t yet see. Her pain became a cry. Her tears turned into a prayer. And in that moment, God met her—not to comfort her sadness, but to respond to the urgency of her faith.

Some breakthroughs are born through holy frustration. When everything in you says, I can’t stay here any longer, you’re closer to the promise than you think.

About this Plan

Giving Birth to Your Promise

Everyone carries a promise from God. Before you were born, He already knew you and had a purpose for your life. You are not here by accident. God has placed something inside of you that longs to come alive; a promise, a calling, a dream that reflects His heart. In this 10-day devotional, we walk through the story of Hannah, the mother of Samuel. Her journey teaches us powerful lessons about prayer, faith, character, and surrender, principles that still lead us to “give birth” to the promises God has placed within us.
