Your worth is in Christ

Devotional:

I want you to think of a clay vessel. For many, it isn't special or pretty, but if we pour cold water into it on a hot day, it will attract attention, not because of the vessel, but because of what it contains.

This is how we are. Maybe you feel weak, fragile, or insignificant, but I want you to know that your true worth is in Christ. What you have inside, the glory of God, makes you special and valuable.

Although we may be clay, when we are planted by the waters, our dry bones come to life. We are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. Your worth does not depend on what you do or your abilities, but on Christ within you.

Prayer:

“Lord, thank You that my worth is in You. Even though I am clay, You make me special because of what You have placed within me.”
