Day 15: Intimacy with God
God knows you intimately. There is no place you can go where God cannot see you. Whether you find yourself in a high or low situation, God is aware of your circumstances. When we realize that we are His children, we should stand in awe of a God who loves us, no matter who we are, where we are, or what we have done.
David, the author of Psalm 139, expressed these sentiments when he praised God for His incredible love and concern for us. David recognized God's magnificent nature and modeled how we should respond.
Moment of Reflection:
Take a moment to look around you—to your left and to your right. What is one thing that catches your eye that reminds you of God’s goodness? It might be a family member, a friend, a stranger, or perhaps something in nature. Choose one thing and express your gratitude and appreciation to God for what He has given you and, more importantly, for who He is.
