Thirty Days of VictoryНамуна

Similarly to what Jesus told the church in Ephesus through John, the church in Sardis is called to wake up their sleeping faith. Their faith in Christ has gone cold, and Jesus describes them as spiritually dead when they should be spiritually alive! They have given into evil and forgotten the faith they had at the beginning. He calls them to repent and return to him, and he promises to all who are victorious over spiritual death that they will forever belong to him.
It can be very easy to allow our faith in Christ to go dull, for the flame to go out. It becomes a routine: going to church on Sunday, our devotions, and volunteering. It can seem like a checklist for following God. However, Jesus does not want us to follow a checklist; he wants our hearts to follow him. If you have realized that your faith is at risk of dying, take measures to revive it. Switch up your routine, ask God to reignite your faith, and make a conscious effort to see him working and moving in your life. When you repent of your turning away and come back to him, he will bring you back into his family. Just as he promises, you will belong to him forever.
