Faith Over FearНамуна

‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.’ – Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)
Today, we encourage you just to rest in the presence of your Heavenly Father, the One who invites you to trust in him, even when you don’t understand. In a world that often demands certainty, God calls us to surrender. As you rest today, release your need for clarity and lean into the faithful presence of your loving Father.
The Advent story is filled with mystery, silence and waiting. In the quiet, God often speaks. Set aside some time today to be still before God. With no agenda and no words, just listen. Let this act of stillness be a declaration of ‘I may not always understand, but I trust you’.
Father, thank you that you invite me to come to you, just as I am. Help me not to lean on my own understanding, but to rest in your wisdom and love. Amen.

About this Plan

The season of Advent invites us to prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus, not just with celebration but with reflection. In the Christmas story, fear is a recurring theme: in the Temple, in dreams, on hillsides and in quiet homes. Yet each time, God responds not with judgement but with reassurance: ‘Do not be afraid.’ In this series, we explore how choosing faith over fear helps us to welcome Jesus more deeply into our lives.
