Find Hope in God's Unfailing LoveНамуна

They’ll Know Us by Our Love
“Everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:35 (NIV)
The distinguishing mark of a Christian is not a cross, a crucifix, a dove, or a fish on a bumper sticker. The sign of a Christian is love.
We sing about love, talk about love, pray about love, and study love. But are we living it? Do we really love? To develop love as your life principle, you have to take initiative.
Start showing love in your current relationships. Have you acted unlovingly toward someone, and you know it’s time to seek reconciliation?
The most important aim in life is to love. Why? Because the world will know about God’s love by the way we love each other.
You spell love T-I-M-E. It takes time to love other people. To love your friends, family, and others, you’ve got to spend time with them. If you love Jesus, you’ve got to spend time with him.
People are attracted to Christ more than they are persuaded to him. They’re attracted by the love of God shown through the people who follow him. And they won’t care what we know until they know that we care.

About this Plan

God wanted you alive just so he could love you! The Bible repeatedly tells us that God is love—not that he has love; he is love. It is his nature, his character. In this 30-day reading plan, you’ll learn more about God’s love for you and how you can love him and others with his help. You’ll discover that the only reason there is any love in the universe is because your Creator is a God of love. And the only reason you are capable of giving and receiving love is because God made you in his image.
