“I can trust that it’s in your hands, even if I don’t understand.”

This journey of walking with the Lord is one of joy and freedom, but that doesn’t mean we don’t also walk through trials and tribulations. Sometimes we face things in our lives that seem impossible. Situations that look like they may never have an end, or pain that seems steadfast. BUT, our God is the God of the impossible. Matthew 19:26 says that “with God, all things are possible.” This means ALL things.

Even when we face what seems impossible, we can have faith and trust in the Lord, knowing the truth of who He is. That just like Romans 8:28 says, “He works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.” There is a peace that we cannot understand when we decide that even in our fear and doubt, we will submit unto the Lord and trust His word.

We have a good God who empathises with us and reminds us that even when we can’t understand, we can believe that the Lord is working it out, and we don’t have to walk through it alone. Psalm 23:4 states, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.” We are not walking through the fire alone or left by ourselves in the lion's den. He is ALWAYS with us.

If you are currently walking through a situation that may seem impossible, I invite you to pray with me: Lord, I praise You for Your goodness and faithfulness. Help me to trust You with my circumstances. I commit all doubt, fear, anxieties, pain, etc, onto You. Give me Your peace, for I know that You are working all things together for my good. I bless Your holy name. Amen
