GRIT: Intense Fellowship

DAY 27 OF 30

Stewarding Time Wisely

Ephesians 5:15-17 - "Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is." (ESV)

Time is one of your most valuable resources—and one you can never get back. Paul's words in Ephesians remind us that how we spend our time matters. The call is to live intentionally, not drifting through days but stewarding them purposefully.

This doesn't mean every hour must be packed with productivity. It means recognizing that your time has eternal significance. How you invest your hours reveals your priorities. Are you making room for what truly matters?

Wise time management starts with asking the right questions: Is this drawing me closer to Christ? Is this building my family? Is this serving others? Is this advancing God's kingdom? If not, it doesn't deserve your time.

Busyness isn't the same as faithfulness. The world will pull you in a thousand directions. But God calls you to walk wisely, aligning your time with His will.

Make space for rest. Make space for people. Make space for God. He doesn't ask for perfection, but calls you to be intentional.

Challenge:

Take inventory of how you spent the last 24 hours. Identify one adjustment you can make to better align your time with God's purposes.

Prayer:

Lord, teach me to number my days and use them well. Help me walk in wisdom and make time for what truly matters. Amen.
