God of Restoration

Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them. - Psalm 126:5-6

God of the seasons, our comforter and redeemer, You are the great restorer. Thank You, Father, for shifting and changing seasons and making a way for Your children out of no way. As Your Word says, sometimes when we are starting a process, it can be painful and difficult, but if we continue faithfully in doing what we’re called to do, You promise a turnaround – that we’ll reap songs of joy and return carrying the fruit of what has been planted. Today, I will wipe the proverbial tears and hold tightly to the joy that You have given me. The time, sacrifice, and even the pain will have a payoff. Lord, forgive me of all my sins, and help me to forgive those who have sinned against me. Help me not to walk into the temptation that this day may bring, and deliver me from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever, amen.
