Kingdom Story Company Month of the Bible Reading PlanНамуна

At first, Pastor Chuck couldn’t imagine his little church becoming the center of anything extraordinary. But when he opened his doors to Lonnie and the young people following him, the sanctuary quickly filled beyond capacity. Soon the walls couldn’t contain what God was doing. Worship spilled into tents outside. Baptisms drew crowds to the beaches. TIME Magazine called it “The Jesus Revolution.”
What happened in California wasn’t man-made—it was Spirit-led. Just like in Acts 2, when ordinary people were filled with extraordinary power, the Jesus Movement proved that God still stirs revival when hearts are open. Awakening isn’t locked in the past. The same Spirit who moved then is still moving now.
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
- Where in your life do you long to see God awaken fresh hope?
- Are you willing to let God move in unexpected ways—even if it challenges your comfort?
- What would it look like for you to expect revival instead of simply wishing for it?
