Bible App for Kids – Discover God’s Big StoryНамуна

TODAY'S STORY
In the Beginning from Genesis 1:1-2:4
Note to the parents:
Creating a special time for your child to learn about God can form rhythms they will repeat throughout the years to come.
We have provided talking points, but you know your child best. You know when they are excited to learn and when they are ready to move on. Stay flexible; each day may look a little different.
For very young children, simply exposing them to the Bible story and asking some recall questions is a big win! You can always use this plan more than once as your child grows.
Help your child recall the story by asking simple questions about what happened.
Examples:
- Who made everything in heaven and on earth?
- What did God say about everything that He made?
- What is the most special thing God made?
Together, think about what you have learned. Invite your child to ask you the question. Encourage them to add their thoughts or fill in a blank when prompted.
What did we learn about GOD?
- God is creative and powerful.
- He is the maker of all things! Every plant, every tiny bug, every person—including you—is made by God.
What did we learn about PEOPLE?
- People are the most special thing God made.
- God wants us to take care of the world He made.
What do you want to say to God after reading this story? (Prayer)
Let's pray together.
God,
Thank You for making the world and everything in it.
(Name some things that God made.)
Help me take care of it.
(Name ways to take care of what God has made.)
Thank You for making me and calling me good.
Amen.
Build anticipation for tomorrow:
Tomorrow we’ll learn about what happened after God made everything. I can’t wait to learn more together!
