30 Day Battle-Ready Challenge - Leadership for Christian MenНамуна

Day 17: Confess and Conquer
Reflection: My wife has a saying that stuck with me the first time I heard it: “Your sins will find you out.” Sounds like something from Proverbs, right? And it’s true—I’ve seen it play out time and time again.
Recently, I saw a video where a CEO and an HR director were caught in an affair. Sadly, that’s not uncommon. But what made this story stand out was how they were exposed: at a concert, on the “Kiss Cam.” One camera shot, and everything unraveled.
What struck me most was the look on the man’s face—fear and darkness. When sin is dragged into the light, it’s never pretty. That moment reminded me of this: hidden sin always costs more than we think.
As men, we cannot fight this battle alone. Unconfessed sin is like keeping a pet rattlesnake. Sooner or later, it strikes—and when it does, the damage can be deadly.
Being battle-ready means having the courage to speak out what you want to keep hidden. Bring it into the light. Let the Holy Spirit do what He does best—crush the darkness and set you free.
Mission: Make confession and prayer a regular practice. Warriors know that small cracks become big breaches if left unchecked.
Field Order: Identify one sin you’ve been hiding and confess it to a brother in Christ today. Don’t delay. Don’t deny. Take action now.
