Unleashing FaithfulnessНамуна

In this parable, Jesus highlights what faithfulness looks like when no one is watching. Jesus talks about a servant who is entrusted with the responsibility of providing for the needs of the household, ensuring all are well-fed and cared for. The servant doesn’t wait for someone to watch over his actions, to be encouraged, or even to be recognized. Instead, when the master returns, the servant is found meeting the needs of others and faithfully managing his responsibilities. This faithfulness, Jesus explains, will be noticed and rewarded.
As you go through your week, be honest with yourself about how you’re living out faithfulness when no one is watching. If someone were to peek into your life, would they find you faithfully doing what God has entrusted to you? We don’t need to wait for a spotlight, encouragement, or even a special occasion to live with responsibility and faithfulness. We can display these qualities exactly where we are right now.

About this Plan

It's easy to look at characters from the Bible, early church leaders, and even modern-day leaders and assume that the goal is to have an extraordinary faith. Does that mean that faithfulness is marked by the extraordinary? This devotional will look at the words Paul left for his young friend, Timothy. As someone who lived an impressive life of faithfulness himself, Paul outlined how we can do the same in every area of our lives, no matter our circumstances.
