Unstuck: The Crucible ProjectНамуна

Are You Ready to Get Unstuck?
Remember Billy’s first rule of mudding: Never go alone.
Just then, Billy’s friend and his bright yellow Jeep crested the ridge and came down to help us. As we were hooking the chains up, I thanked him profusely. He told me that's what he was here for, and eventually, he too would get stuck and need our help.
Sometimes we live in the tension of the dilemma that has us stuck, and instead of change, we “make our peace” with the suffering. That’s not always a bad thing if we truly cannot make things different. The psalmist wrote, “Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul? Why are you crying the blues? Fix my eyes on God— soon I’ll be praising again. He puts a smile on my face. He’s my God.” (Psalm 42:5 The Message).
The path toward a new way of being is never walked alone. At the Crucible Project, we believe that getting unstuck happens when we walk with Jesus and join with others on their journey. Our retreats test and challenge men and women to search beyond surface barriers and break out of the stuck areas in their lives. Then afterward, our small groups led by trained facilitators provide months of support for establishing new patterns and staying unstuck.
We would like to thank Roy Wooten of The Crucible Project for providing the groundwork for this plan. If you would like to learn more about our retreats or receive a free copy of the book “Unstuck: Seven Steps to Break Free and Live Courageously”, visit www.thecrucibleproject.org

About this Plan

Sometimes we feel stuck between doing what is right and wrong. But more commonly, we feel stuck trying to make an improvement to our lives that is just not coming easily. What is it like for you when you feel stuck? This plan uses Biblical examples to explore how we get stuck, why we stay stuck, and how we can break free.
