Lent | Week 4: Jesus' Journey to the CrossНамуна

Jesus' Arrest
In the middle of his arrest, Jesus had the power to call on God for rescue, but he didn’t. He knew God could step in and stop everything. But he also knew there was a greater purpose in the pain. Even in his suffering, Jesus never doubted God’s power. He trusted that, even in silence, God was still in control.
When we go through pain, it’s easy to wonder if God sees us, if he cares. We might even feel like he’s powerless to stop our suffering. But Jesus shows us a different perspective, one that trusts God’s strength even when it feels like he isn’t intervening.
What situation in your life do you need to trust God with? Where do you need to believe that he’s still at work even when you don’t see it?
Prayer: God, when I face pain, help me to trust that you are still in control. Even when I don’t understand, give me faith to believe you are working for a greater purpose. Amen.

About this Plan

As we move through Lent, we reflect on some of Jesus' most intense moments: his betrayal, arrest, and ultimate sacrifice. These moments remind us that following God’s will isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it. This week, let’s reflect on what it means to choose God’s path, even when it’s hard, and to extend love and grace to others in the face of challenges.
