The Story of GodНамуна

Do you trust God, no questions asked?
Why did Abraham firmly believe he could trust that God would provide a sacrifice instead of Isaac? It’s because he knew God’s character. He knew that God was loving, completely good, and faithful because of the way he had already dealt with him. This was the God who blessed him and his wife with a son and heir when they were well past their prime. In other words, God’s past faithfulness, as well as faith in his complete goodness, compelled him to trust that God would not allow such an evil to take place. Child sacrifice is something that the God of the Bible is completely and utterly against: “You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way, for every abominable thing that the Lord hates they have done for their gods, for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.” Deuteronomy 12:31 (ESV)
Question:
Do you believe that God will ultimately work for your good and the good of others, even when you’re faced with something unimaginable like Abraham?
