Why Does God Seem to Bless Everyone Else's Finances but Mine?Намуна

Day 3: The Miracle in Familiar Waters
Peter had fished all night with nothing to show for it. Sound familiar?
Maybe you've been faithful, you've been working hard, but the breakthrough still feels elusive.
Then Jesus shows up and asks him to try again - in the same water where he'd already failed.
Your Miracle Is probably in Familiar Waters
Here's what Peter almost missed: the breakthrough was always available in the same place he'd been fishing.
The difference wasn't the location - it was the perspective.
This is your moment. Not to look somewhere else for God's blessing, but to see your current situation with completely new eyes.
The Recognition Exercise
Right now, I want you to do a quick exercise.
Think about the last six months and identify:
One unexpected provision - Money that came from an unusual source, a bill that was smaller than expected, or something you needed that was provided for free
One "coincidence" that saved you money - A plan that fell through, a purchase you almost made but didn't, or timing that worked out perfectly
One skill or strength you've developed - Something this season of struggle has taught you that you didn't have before
One door that opened during difficulty - A connection made, an opportunity offered, or insight gained while you were going through this
Seriously, put your phone down and take a few minutes to think about each.
Did you find them? That's God's provision.
That's Him blessing you while you were looking elsewhere.
The widow with the oil jar thought she had nothing.
The Zarephath widow was down to her last meal. Peter had fished all night with empty nets.
But God saw abundance where they saw lack. He saw provision where they saw emptiness. He saw breakthrough where they saw failure.
What if your current season isn't punishment for something you've done wrong, but preparation for something you can't yet imagine?
What if the very struggle that made you ask "Why not me?" is actually God positioning you to handle the blessing He's been preparing?
Your Next Step
If you allow me to be your coach for a moment, I want to encourage you to stop comparing your chapter 3 to someone else's chapter 20.
Stop measuring God's faithfulness by your bank account balance.
And stop waiting for permission to believe you're blessed.
You are seen. You are provided for. You are positioned for breakthrough.
The question really isn't "Why does God bless everyone else but me?"
But the question is "How will I respond when I finally see all the ways He's already been blessing me?"
Let's pray: Father, I choose today to see with Your eyes instead of my circumstances. Thank You for the ways You've been providing that I missed. Thank You for positioning me through this season for what's coming next. I'm ready to stop comparing and start celebrating what You've already done. Show me how to be faithful with what I have while trusting You for what's ahead.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
If you enjoyed this plan, you'll love my award-winning book Simple Money, Rich Life.
It's the operating manual we (a broke, middle-class couple) followed to pay off over $400k of debt and give $1M by my 40th birthday.
The roadmap in this book will help you earn more, save more, pay off debt, and have more fun giving than you thought possible… all without a hint of guilt or shame.
As a thank you for completing this plan, I'd love to give you a copy of the book (if you can cover S&H). Sound good?
