That restlessness inside you is unnecessary

Do you know what might be the reason you're not experiencing joy the way you could be? 🤔

That deep-down awareness that you're making “mistakes.” That you're not fully living or responding the way God would hope for you to…

And today, we want to deal with that unnecessary restlessness. How? Simply by praying a very powerful psalm together. 🙏

You probably know Psalm 51:10: “Create in me a pure heart.” (Psalm 51:10 NIV)

And what surrounds that verse is such a strong prayer! Let it sink in—and if it resonates with your heart, feel free to affirm it with a sincere “Amen” at the end.

“For I was born a sinner—yes, from the moment my mother conceived me.

But you desire honesty from the heart, so teach me to be wise in my inmost being;
Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow;

Oh, give me back my joy again; you have broken me—now let me rejoice. Don’t keep looking at my sins. Remove the stain of my guilt!

Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.

Do not banish me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.” (Psalm 51:5–12 NLT)

I want to live according to your will—so I ask you today, please forgive me. Amen. Amen. Amen.

Stay close to God’s heart. ❤️ Because nothing is more precious than His undeserved grace.

And that grace is ALWAYS available when we intentionally spend time in His presence!
