Rescued

Our most desperate situations can lead to our biggest miracles. When we find ourselves afraid and unable to know the outcome of the situation we find ourselves in, that is the right time to call on the Lord. In fact, anytime and anywhere is the right time and place to call on God. He is always close and ready to help us.

Which troubles will God help us with? Are there some he will gladly help us with others he will leave us to fight on our own? By no means. His help may look different each time, but he is always faithful to help us—to rescue us from all our troubles. God is our Savior. He frees us from our bondage and leads us into wide-open spaces where we learn to depend on him. He provides our daily bread as well as fresh water to satisfy our thirst. There is nothing he will not do for those who rely on him.

When we cry out to him with all our hearts, God hears us and responds. He always responds! If you are waiting on his response today, don’t let worry cloud your vision. He is coming to help you. He is coming to rescue you. He is already moving you toward your deliverance. You will taste and see that the Lord is good, and you will experience the joys of taking refuge in him.
